Reflective Narrative
Introduction to Advanced Communication (JAPN 300) was my first upperdivision language course taken at CSUMB and was an effective in teaching me the next level of advanced communication beyond the basics through practicing skits, presentations and various projects. By branching out into different types of presentation topics allowed us to practice presenting about subjects outside of personal matters. Structure of Japanese Language (JAPN 401) and Japanese Literature (JAPN 402) as content courses that were held in Japanese, helped to further my Japanese interpersonal and interpretive communication skills, by in addition to presentational projects, creating an enviorment that forced me to communicate in the target language outside of a prepared presentational format through content discussions about more complex or abstract topics such as the structure of the Japanese lanaguage. |
